To reduce the presence of abrasive particles, use mats at entranceways, remove footwear by the door during bad weather, and keep all pet nails trimmed appropriately.
Treating Spills On Hardwood
There’s no need to stress over spills on your hardwood, but it is important to treat them as promptly as possible to prevent moisture damage. Start by gently lifting any solid material from the spill, then begin blotting the spill with a dry white cloth or paper towels. Blot from the perimeter of the spill towards the center, then use a gentle hardwood-specific cleaner to spot treat as needed.
